JamVision takes this opportunity to congratulate JamTV on all that it has achieved in its first month of broadcast operations. It was an idea that had been attempted before but with limited success, and yet, this small yet dedicated team have persevered and made their dream a reality.

We had always wanted to collaborate with a UK broadcast house through which we could share our rich archive of cultural content, because we were well aware that Jamaicans and our Caribbean cousins were clamouring for Jamaica’s arts, dance, music, sports, cuisine, drama and language in its televised form in the UK. So when CMH first contacted us with their vision, we leapt at the opportunity and have not regretted it for one moment.

This relationship is a testament to the possibilities that can flow from linkages across the Diaspora. Caribbean Media House and JamTV have arrived at the right time for Caribbean audiences and for us, so we will continue to develop the content while they showcase our rich Jamaican legacy.

As we prepare to celebrate our 30th Anniversary in October, the CPTC promises to give viewers on JamTV a truly Jamaican viewing experience. The best is yet to come. Brand Jamaica to di World!

Just called my mummy, she says oh my dear, I've been watching this wonderful channel I don't know what it's called but it's showing lots of Jamaican programmes and school quiz and Dance competitions.
